Welcome to Trelawney Garden Centres
Purchased in 2005 by David Danning & David Symons who between them have owned Trelawney Garden Leisure in Cornwall for over 20 years. To further grow the company it was decided a few years ago to explore the possibility of adding further sites to attract customers from a wider area.

In 2004 a planning application was submitted for a new centre on the outskirts of Truro and this is currently in the process of undergoing a public inquiry. As this was taking a long time to get a decision we started to look around the South West to see if there were any other sites that would fit in with the geographical requirements of the company. We were delighted to be offered the Ashford centre by the Banbury family which was at the time trading in their name. The purchase of the centre dovetails in perfectly with the customer base of the Wadebridge centre, whose customer base is mainly from Newquay up to Bude.

The aim is to strengthen the gardening offer at the centre whilst at the same time retaining its wonderful restaurant and giftware sections. The spring of 2006 has seen the first of the changes planned for the site with the development of an enlarged garden sundries department and planteria. Future works are hoped to include the building of a protected covered area for all weather plant shopping.
