This became Trelawney’s second centre when it was purchased from the Banbury family in November 2005. Situated at Ashford, a village 2 miles from Barnstaple beside the busy A361 that travels to Braunton and Ilfracombe, the site overlooks the Taw estuary and is set in a conservation area. Totally redeveloped in 2003 when the old Ashford Garden Centre site was virtually flattened and rebuilt with the 20,000sq.ft shop, plant and landscape product terraces and a car park that now has 200 spaces.
A 2 acre show garden with feature lake is overlooked by the restaurant and is also home to the ‘Treelands Play Area’.
